ASC4-RTH is an automatic sandpaper changing module developed by DS Technology specifically for the RTH-2TP and RTH-2P handheld-type tool surface finishing systems. The system offers flexible configuration based on the robotic tool changer and sandpaper slot setup. It comes standard with support for four tool-and-abrasive combinations of different sizes and grits and can be expanded to accommodate additional specifications for various workpieces and process requirements.
ASC4-RTH features a patented sandpaper removal design that enables stable detachment of used abrasives. It also includes a user-friendly external replacement mechanism that enhances the reliability and maintainability of sandpaper changes. The system automatically switches between abrasive papers and tools according to the workpiece and process, achieving fully automated tool and consumable changes, significantly increasing flexibility and production efficiency.
The system is compatible with compliant grinding tools such as LCZ100, LCZ300, and LRCZ300. It uses standard Hook & Loop fastening and supports common abrasive sizes including 2", 3", 5", and 6" round pads, as well as triangular and rectangular shapes—ideal for multi-variety, automated grinding applications.
